Luna Moth is a cutting-age project to challenge the old educational pathways, build a free learning community within a purposeful learning environment, as well as to be a professional school alternative and a hub for independent artists, teachers and performers. I am a philosopher, educator and filmmaker, and I'd love to tell you briefly about my vision!
Great treasures are often hidden. A nocturnal butterfly - the company’s totem - is a mysterious, ethereal creature reminding us of things that aren’t visible through the eye of materialistic life. Therefore, we encourage children to learn how to hunt for meanings and experience them fully! Childhood - the most magical part of life - brims with wonder to be experienced and remembered forever, allowing one to always find a path to the light by understanding the darkness.
Children feel nourished, peaceful and safe in a meaningful, natural and imaginative environment that ignites their curiosity, creativity, and free play, involving them in intrinsically motivated activities, prompting their diverse talents to well up. Fostering purposeful learning isn't just about your child's development - it is a solution to the challenges a contemporary parent faces in today's world - from environmental worries like climate change and pollution to the urgent need for social justice and anxieties about your child's future amidst the complexities of modern times.
